For this project, I was assigned to create a life based on a chosen career path.
This consisted of researching the expenses of college education, a house, a car, insurance, a cell phone, streaming platforms, and utilities. Once researched, I then created a budget.

21st Century Skills
For this assignment, I used my financial, Economic, and business skills in order to correctly calculate the cost of living and to create a successful budget sheet.
Reflection
This project has taught me the importance of having not only a life plan but also a budget plan.
I found this project to be very valuable. I now have a clearer understanding of how to buy a house, the cost of living, insurance expenses, car expenses, college expenses, scholarships, and how to calculate an accurate budget. Everything in this assignment was well explained and thought-out, all of my questions were answered and I can now start planning for my future. A lot of things seemed to surprise me when working on this slideshow. For example, Health insurance expenses really shocked me! The cost of my monthly premium is $342.72. With my career being an interior designer, the starting salary was enough to cover my monthly expenses, although I would be living paycheck to paycheck.
I really enjoyed working on this project, I feel that it tremendously helped prepare me for the real world and it's inevitable living expenses.
